Let me start by saying that this could not have arrived at a better time. It arrived on a Friday. Of course I opened it all up, tested it on the kids, my husband and myself. It worked beautifully and everyone had very normal temps. On Saturday I came down with a fever, a very high one I might add. I never get fevers. It was just over 104. My new Temporal Artery Thermometer that Exergen provided made it very quick and painless for me to take my temperature. Now if I had been in my right frame of mind I would have had my husband video me and how easy it was for me to use even as sick as I was, but I was not in my right frame of mind. So, I will include a video of how easy it is to use on Ryan.

I didn’t realize that the temporal artery located on the forehead is the only such artery positioned close enough to the skin to be able to take an accurate measurement of temperature.
