Exergen Temporal Thermometer-Review and Giveaway

Let me start by saying that this could not have arrived at a better time. It arrived on a Friday. Of course I opened it all up, tested it on the kids, my husband and myself. It worked beautifully and everyone had very normal temps. On Saturday I came down with a fever, a very high one I might add. I never get fevers. It was just over 104. My new Temporal Artery Thermometer that Exergen provided made it very quick and painless for me to take my temperature. Now if I had been in my right frame of mind I would have had my husband video me and how easy it was for me to use even as sick as I was, but I was not in my right frame of mind. So, I will include a video of how easy it is to use on Ryan.

Now, I will take his temperature again in a couple hours to ensure that he is indeed not running a low grade fever. Chances are he is in the normal range, but because of the absolute accuracy of this thermometer it sometimes can read a slightly higher temperature. The thermometer measures core body temperature, which is about 1 degree higher than oral temp and 2 degrees higher than an underarm temp. Core body temperature is the operating temperature in deep structures of your body.
