I’m going to go with 6 ways I’m like my mother, because we’re a lot a like-
- We’re both addicted to shopping.
- My eyes turn bright green when I’m mad, just like hers.
- My temper is just like my moms, I don’t know if that’s a good thing
- We both love to cook, I received that gene from both of my parents I think.
- We both wake up early Saturday morning to clean and then run errands around town. This was the routine for me growing up, and still is. We often still do this together even!
- We both love to mow the lawn.

How funny that your eyes turn green when you’re angry. I have brownish-green eyes and mine turn really green when I cry. We had the same Saturday tradition when I was little too! Happy early Mother’s Day!

I grew up in the suburbs of a large city. Women mowing the lawn was totally unheard of there. Then, I moved downstate to a small city surrounded by farmland and women are mowing their lawn. I was freaked out at first. But, you know what, it’s great exercise!
