In more ways than one. Of course, you may have seen my post over a week ago now on how I was leaving for a camping trip. I’m here to assure that I did not get lost in the woods while hiking around down there. See, what really happened, while I’m not here to make excuses for my extended absence, was the Twilight series. So you see, I’m back from camping and my vacation from the computer (so to speak).
What about the Twilight series? You may be asking… It started after we arrived at my sister in-laws home. We also stayed a couple nights with them as they live much closer to the area we were camping. While down there I finished the last book I was reading, and didn’t pack anymore because my sister in law Dawn and I have similar tastes in literature and I knew I’d be able to make a barter. That was when she directed me to the stack, 4 in all, of books that make up the series that Stephanie Meyer wrote. I thought, what the heck. When these books first started making an appearance I wasn’t all that interested, the more I heard though, the more I understood that they are actually pretty good. I dug into the first one the day before we were to head home, and didn’t turn back. I finished them all in a matter of 5 days. I could keep going on and on about these books, but I’ll save it. Just go read them yourself, I couldn’t put the darn things down. It’s the story itself that sucks you in.
You see? This is where I have been. With that being said, it’s still going to be very busy around here, but I promise to get up some awesome contests and such. (for those of you who voted for Rob, I’ll extend those extra entries through July). Here are some of our recent pictures to wish everyone a belated Independence Day and a few from camping.

I loved Twilight, now I’m into thew Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood series which is the *adult* version of Twilight & I have been MIA from life since I found them a week ago!!!!! Welcome back!
