Thursday was Ryan’s actual Birthday so I’m going to save the stressing out over the details for the evening when he’s in bed and Friday before the scheduled time of 4 p.m. We chose an evening party more for ambiance with the tiki torches and such. Thursday was Ryan’s day and I didn’t want to take away from that, I had everything in my possession and mostly put together. There were just the finishing touches.

We expanded on the pirate theme by taking Ryan and his two closest buddies into town to go putt-putting at Pirates Cove (perfect). Not only that, but coincidentally, the Nina and Pinta replicas are in town. I know that these are not Pirate ships but they sure do resemble one. The captain explained to Ryan how pirates did use the same type of ship, just not specifically the Nina and Pinta.

All in all it was a fantastic day and absolutely gorgeous outside, now we have the party to look forward to!
