Wow, I’m telling ya, I don’t remember the last time I experienced a summer that just wasn’t summery. Around these parts it usually warms up mid June. By July, it’s hot, but not too hot. We peak at an average of 85 degrees throughout July I’d say. Sometimes hotter, sometimes a little cooler. This summer has been more cooler, all summer. Sure we’ve had a handful, literally not more than several, hot days. Not enough to spend quality time at the beach or on the boat.
Alas though, now that we’re headed for the middle of August and summer is nearing it’s end, we get two hot days in a row. That’s right folks. So, we went to the beach both days. My house is a disaster, but I’m not taking any chances because it would be just my luck for it to dip down to being too cool again tomorrow. Now that I’ve shared my sob story with you all, here are some beachy pictures!

Wow that looks like fun and those are great pics !
Boston has been the same way. We had something like 27 days of rain in June or was it July. its really hot here now, humid, high 70’s, but not very sunny.
We’ve had the exact same kind of summer here, Tara! And Sunday and Monday were HOT, HOT, HOT…we even got to swim both days! LOL. Now today it’s gloomy/rainy and only supposed to be in the mid 70’s. It will probably wait until school starts at the end of the month to get hot and stay hot, all the way until October @@.
That looks like such a fun place to be. I haven’t seen brown sand since I was a kid, love it!
LOL Gena, I hope Rob is ALWAYS hot! You know Kati, every summer it’s unavoidable, I always get the flip flop tan line
Thank you girls!
Looks like you are all having a blast! You deserve it! Enjoy it while it lasts. Oh and Rob is STILL hot.
~ I love the pic of Ryan jumping out of the water.
It is super hot here as well.. and I would never dream of spending it at the beach. I shut down when it get too warm!
P.S. I LOVE flip flop tan lines!
