If there was one trait of mine that I could wish to instill upon my children it would be my love for reading. For as long as I can remember I have held a love for books. From my parents reading to my brother and I before bed to when I learned to read and acquired a love for Nancy Drew novels. Now I read about 1 novel a week, sometimes more sometimes less. When I found out I was pregnant with my son my husband read him the novel version of Alice in Wonderland, while he was in my womb. From the day he was born  (and before) we’ve read to him every single night and it has of course continued on with our daughter. So far they both adore listening to stories and Ryan is even showing the beginning signs of reading himself! It just makes my heart swell.
